    Nursing Home Ministry

    Evangelist Loretta Johnson

Our focus is share the good news of Jesus Christ, by planting a seed of hope and love in the lives of those that are unable to go to church. Nursing Home visitation gives us the opportunity to express what we believe Jesus Christ’s ministry was about in (Mt. 28:19)“Go ye therefore...in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost) to the poor in spirit, to seek and saved the lost and to heal.

We do this by preaching the gospel, sing songs of praise and worship and praying for those who request the need for prayer.  It is our aim to encourage hope and impart a spirit of rejoicing and let people know of our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.   We visit a local nursing home once a month; it’s the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

    Prison Ministry

    Pastor Thomas W. Hayes

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me for he has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

This is the mandate of the Prison Ministry, to go to the prisons and proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound. Those who are incarcerated need to know that freedom begins with freedom from the chains of sin. St John’s Gospel 8:32 says that the truth shall make you free and men incarcerated need the truth of the Gospel. In this same chapter verse 36, Jesus said if the son therefore shall make you free ye shall be free indeed.

We Minister in the prison to let men know the liberty they have in Christ and the Power of Christ in their lives. It is necessary to let men know that God has a plan for their lives and that though society may have cast them away Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. In the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin, the lost son. Jesus gives us a picture of the extreme, diligent efforts he would go to for those that are lost.

Before men can return to their families and be the men God has ordained, they must come to a saving knowledge and a daily walk with the Master. We are glad to say that the church behind the prison walls is growing and the transforming power of the resurrected Lord is seen in the men who return to their families and their churches. Continue to pray for us as we obey the great commission.

    Web Evangelism Ministry

Mission’s Pastor Elder Ernest F. Jackson

The Web Evangelism Ministry of EGA is an extension of the evangelism ministry. Our purpose is to reach far beyond our four walls. Our vision is to spread the gospel over the World Wide Web by encouragement, prayer, and a message of God’s great love. We hope to strengthen like minded believers, and to point seekers in the right direction to find the true and living God. To let the world know that the church is not a building but a people. Our desire is to connect with people all over the world with an aim to the 10/40 window.
